A HIGHLY RARE INSCRIBED EMERALD, LATE 18TH CENTURY, INDO PERSIAN Inscription read: "And whoever fears Allah, He will make for him a way out, And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent." (Quran, Surah Al-Ṭalāq, 65:2-3) It is believed the Emerald to be from India and the calligraphy to be executed by a Persian Calligraphier. 2cm x 1.7cm Weight approx: 4 grams British Private Collection Circa 1980
