François-Raoul Larche (1860 St. André-de Cubzac - 1912 Paris) after Figurative Art Nouveau table lamp "La Danse, la Loïe Fuller". Original title 1-light; bronze, golden brown patina. Artist's mark; foundry mark "VENTUR! ARTE BOLOGNA", model c. 1901. Larche shows the dancer Loïe Fuller in one of her legendary, dynamically moving veil dance performances (including at the 1900 World Exhibition in Paris, where Larche himself won a gold medal), which she also supported illusionistically with the new, electric illumination.
