Prof. Victor Heinrich Seifert (1870 - 1953) - a large knight figure Bronze with dark green patina (somewhat rubbed). Signed on the plinth "Prof. V. H. Seifert" on the plinth. Standing full-length figure in armor, both hands resting on a sword in front of the body. On an octagonal gray marble base (loose, chipped). Slightly damaged in places, signs of age. Total height 75 cm, weight approx. 28 kg. Proud pose with an introspective, concentrated expression. Victor Heinrich Seifert was a pupil of Herter, Manzel and Breuer at the Berlin Academy of Art. He created several monumental bronze sculptures for monuments such as the Bismarck monument in Sebnitz or the Hindenburg monument in Bad Reinerz. Condition: II
