A German Romanesque bronze dragon candlestick, circa 1300 (stem 15th century) Cast in bronze. The domed, triangular pedestal openworked in the shape of a dragon and tendrils with three claw feet. The slender shaft and hexagonal socket presumably 15th century replacements. One foot is cracked. Dimensions 15 x 10 x 10 cm. Condition: II - III
