Missal - Single leaf from a particularly large-format missal. Latin manuscript on parchment. With 5 gouached rectangular initials (approx. 7 x 8 cm) in blue, red and pink as well as double side framing and line separators in red. 18th century. Sheet size: 92 x 63.5 cm. Writing mirror: 76 x 47.5 cm. Some creasing, one horizontal crease, letters partly worn, browned on one side, one line with some ink erosion. - In addition: Another Latin missal leaf on parchment, roughly contemporary. With a large initial (17 x 16.5 cm) and a border on one side, both made of rustic foliage in red, green and silver-grey. Sheet size: 71 x 50 cm. Writing area: 62 x 40 cm. - Heavily worn and creased, especially in the foot area, wormhole in the left margin.
