Contemporary leather bindings (non-uniform rembo�tages, restored, rubbed). Extensive, richly illustrated fragment. Contains almost 280 French noble families, each volume with its own alphabet and table of contents. The title of volume 5 with the note "Avec des Additions aux 4 tomes precedents". - Father Prosper of Rodes (Pyrenees) is known from at least two other genealogical manuscripts (Lelong 40578/9). - Volume 3 lacks the title and pp. 2/3, 6/7, 62/63, 146-149, 386/87, volume 5 lacks pp. 105-108, 159/60 and 249/50 - Volume 3 partly heavily stained, image losses on pp. 4/5, 380/81 and pp. 400/401, some further tears and losses, partly repaired. Volume 5 in good condition. - Should be inspected, without right of return.
