Issued in Braunschweig, Eldagsen, Greiz, Landsberg, Pinneberg, Prague, Weimar, etc., 1836-72. Each with pre-printed text with numerous handwritten endorsements and stamps. Approx. 16 x 10 cm. Mostly half leather bindings of the time (clear signs of wear). Including: Particularly richly filled travel book of the merchant Carl Robert Engel from Magdeburg 1836-57 in red leather, folded Prussian passport for the same (Magdeburg 1857). - Folded Austrian passport (37 x 26 cm) for Prince Karl Löwenstein-Wertheim together with Princess Adelheid and Countess Nathalie Kielmannsegg and servants for the journey from Prague to Prussia and Würzburg, 1838 - Christian travel book for traveling journeymen. Halle, Waisenhaus, 1827. Rare guidebook with stamp "Schumacher-Gesellen-Auflage 1838" and ownership note from 1849. - Traces of use, some heavy.
