Anarchism - Garcia Pradas, José. Bandera de Libertad. Madrid, Seccion de Propaganda del Comite de sefensa Confederal del Centro de CNT, 1938. 150 pp. 21 x 15 cm. Illustrated original paper boards (stained, lower capital with loss, edges rubbed, front joint torn at bottom approx. 7 cm). Rare, only edition of the collection of poems published shortly before the end of the Spanish Civil War. - With a preface by Valentin de Pedro and an afterword by Felipe A. Cabezas. - The anarchist journalist and writer José García Pradas (1910-1988) was a commander of the Confederación Nacional del Trabajo (CNT) and the Frente Libertario during the Spanish Civil War. He was also a member of the Comité de Defensa del Centro. In 1939 he went into exile, first to France and later to London, where he continued to work as a writer. - Browned due to paper, endpapers with handwritten dedication (slightly stained, slightly creased).
