Bauhaus - Lindig, Otto. Bellied vase and fruit bowl. Ceramics. Matte glazed. Ceramic monogram stamp on the bases. Probably 1938. dimensions: 24 x 24 x 24 (opening: 9 cm diameter) and 33 x 33 x 6 cm. Beautiful, modern ceramics by Bauhaus artist Otto Lindig (1895-1966), who won the Grand Prix at the Paris World Exhibition in 1937 for one of his plain and extremely simple vases. - Both ceramics somewhat rubbed and with small indentations in places, the bowl with small spots.
