With numerous mostly color illustrations and the accompanying color photographic offset print (Parisian apartment block) in a separate cover. Frankfurt, Portikus and Stuttgart, Oktagon, 1995. 30 pp. 24 x 26.5 cm (catalogs)/ 27 x 48 cm (cover). Two original cardboards loose in original silver-colored cassette (27.8 x 50 cm) with cover title (cassette somewhat scratched). With the famous photograph of the Paris apartment block. - Parr/Badger II, 275: "Montparnasse is a 'one-picture' book, a rigorously elevational view of a giant housing block in Paris, itself a relentless gridded structure some 18 storeys high and over a quarter of a mile long. The block is the epitome of the 'housing as rabbit hutch' syndrome." - Good copy.
