Rare erotic graphic series by the Frankfurt artist Albert Louis Ulrich Hendschel (1834-1883), who is particularly known for his diary-like sketchbooks. The prolific draughtsman, whose motto was "Nulla dies sine linea" (No day without a line), devotes himself here to the lovemaking of a young couple. - Without the letter "J". - The 25 loose sheets numbered in pencil on the verso as well as three sheets with small additional sketches, such as a further X and B variant, slightly browned, in part minimally fingerstained, sheet edges somewhat irregular. - Provenance: From the collection of Hans-Jürgen Döpp, Frankfurt.
