Numbered and signed again in pencil on the verso. - In 1978, H. C. Artmann wrote "sieben Mitteilungen zur schwarzen Kunst" by Uwe Bremer. The text appeared in a portfolio of prints published by the Brockstedt Gallery in Hamburg together with seven color etchings by Bremer. Here Bremer paid tribute to his friend, who died in 2000, with a new portrait and interpreted his text from 1978 in seven new woodcuts - collected in a lockable "magic box" with corresponding text-quoting utensils. - Artmann's "Mitteilungen" is preceded by an essay by Gerhard Rühm. - Impeccable.
