Mies, Hermann. Dice game (same side). Limewood, painted blue and black. Monogrammed and dated in a lower corner. Titled on the original transport box. 1996, dimensions: 32 x 32 x 32 cm. Beautiful wooden sculpture by the sculptor Hermann Mies (1929-2001), who was born in Dortmund, worked in Lage for much of his life and was a member of the Lippischer Künstlerbund since 1977. From the very beginning, Hermann Mies devoted himself to creating graphic, abstract forms in wood that were directed towards and against each other, for which he developed his own machines. - With the transport box specially made by Hermann Mies. - Minimally dusty in places. - Provenance: Estate of the artist.
