DOM ROBERT (Guy de CHAUNAC-LANZAC, 1907-1997, after a carton by) TABARD FRERES SŒURS (lissier) "Pavane de novembre", model created in 1962. Polychrome wool tapestry decorated with peacocks, roosters and magpies among pear tree leaves on a shaded brown background with chocolate edging. Signed, dated and weaver's monogram in the weft. Approx. 200 x 304 cm. Provenance: Purchased from the artist by one of his fellow Benedictine monks, father of the current owner.
