Cologne, Pierre de La Vallée, 1657. 2 parts in a small in-12 volume, red morocco, triple gilt fillet, richly ornamented spine, the caissons decorated with small filigree irons arranged around a small green mosaic cartouche housing a small flower, interior lace, gilt edges (Lortic). First Elzévirienne edition and first collective edition with continuous pagination, published the same year as the original in-4 (Willems, n°1218). A fine copy, finely bound by Lortic. Small paper loss in the margin of folio L5, without affecting the text.
