In-4, cream morocco, boards and spine decorated with a grid of gilded fillets and thin mosaic stripes of olive and violet calf, small gilded tendrils here and there, interior framing in the same morocco with reminder of the decoration, fuschia moire lining and endpapers, gold-flecked paper double endpapers, gilded edges on witnesses, cover and spine, green half-calf band folder and slipcase (G. Cretté successor to Marius Michel).
Edition with 36 original etchings by Dunoyer de Segonzac.
This illustration is one of the artist's finest achievements.
Edition of 165 numbered copies on hollande, this one enriched with an original drawing by the artist.
Beautiful binding by Georges Cretté, decorated with a trellis.
