German , Movement studies of a chaffinch.
Oil on wove paper, mounted on card. (19th century). 23.7 x 31.7 cm. Framed.
The support somewhat convex. Slight blistering in one place at the top center due to mounting, tiny losses of pigment there. A superficial scratch to the left of the bird's tail plumage in dorsal view. In good condition for its age.
