Paul Wilhelm Keller-Reutlingen (1854 Reutlingen - Munich 1920), Forest clearing with grazing sheep.
Oil on canvas. (Around 1900). 30.2 x 42.4 cm. Signed lower center. Framed.
The edges of the image minimally rubbed due to framing. A tiny hole in the foliage upper right and a pinhole in the right margin. In good condition.
Provenance: Schloss Milkel (near Bautzen); Albertinum/Galerie Neue Meister Dresden, acquired by the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden (SKD) after 1945 through the so-called Schlossbergung, verso on stretcher and frame with inv. no. "3293"; restituted to the heirs of the former owners of Schloss Milkel in 2013 (see letter dated 27.1.2021); Munich art dealer; private ownership, Southern Germany.
