Charles Vetter (1858 Kahlstädt - Munich 1941), View of Odeonsplatz with Feldherrnhalle and Theatinerkirche. Oil on wood, verso with inlay strips. 1927 (?). 64.5 x 78 cm. Signed, indistinctly dated and further inscribed (?) lower left. Framed. Varnish darkened and craquelured in places. Two horizontal cracks, one of which across the entire width of the image. The edges of the image rubbed due to framing, occasionally with tiny losses of color. Provenance: Private collection, Saarland, through succession to the present owner.
