DUTCH SCHOOL, 19th century Oil on panel Copy of the original panel lost in the Second World War by the artist Frans van Mieris the Elder, made in 1656, which was kept in the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister in Dresden. It shows the interior of an artist's studio where a woman portrays herself, accompanied by the artist and a maid. It follows models of Flemish interiors of the 16th-17th century. Framed in wood richly worked in gilt. Slight damage to the frame. 73 x 63 cm.
