This original work is part of a Stations of the Cross acquired by the French government in 2004. The scene appears on a golden background and framed with polychrome floral motifs. Inscribed at the bottom: "Jesus valt de tweede maal onder zun kruis". The present work coincides with the upper part of the work that artists made for the Church of St. Walburg in Oudenaarde (Belgium). 67 x 48 cm.
