Provenance: first-class reading lounge of the liner Île de France, 1949 Trace of turnbuckle under the armchair Height: 84 cm Width : 66 cm Depth: 83 cm Worn upholstery, used condition, to be restored. The review of the liner Île de France of the Compagnie Transatlantique (page 4) and a photograph from the magazine France French Line showing Ernest Hemingway on one of these armchairs are included.
