Clovis-Edmond MASSON (1838-1913) Two deer Bronze with double patina of gold and green-brown Signed on the terrace "C.E MASSON". Bears the founder's stamp Les Neuveux de Jules Lehmann "LNJN / PARIS". Bears the stamped number "22" and a stamp with the interlaced initials "MJ" with the number "22". Height 61 cm and terrace: Length: 53 cm; Width: 29 cm Clovis Masson, a pupil of Antoine-Louis Barye, was an animal sculptor who regularly exhibited his work at the Salon around 1890.
