Large volume in-12, midnight-blue morocco, triple gilt fillet, ornate spine, interior lace, gilt edges (Thibaron-Joly). Partly original edition. Le Cabinet des Muses concludes the series of collective collections published by the Du Petit-Val dynasty. According to Frédéric Lachèvre's count, it contains a total of 331 pieces: half of them first appeared in the Temple d'Apollon of 1611, and 63 pieces appear here for the first time, including some by Théophile de Viau, Bois-Robert, Jean Baudoin and De Lastre. A fine copy, from the libraries of Charles Cousin (1891, no. 347), Frédéric Lachèvre (I, 1901, no. 15) and Bruno Monnier at Château de Mantry.
