The thick silk reps bottom is pinched at the waist to give a ball effect. An appliquéd belt folds over the pleats to tie at the front. The dress closes at the front with snaps and hooks, and at the side with a zipper. The inner bust is lined with organza with grosgrain braid at the zipper. The bottom has an ivory chiffon bottom.
