KPM Berlin Art-Deko Vase "Ernst Böhm"

Porcelain painted iron-red, flute form based on Asian models of the archaic form "Gu", all-round iron-red latticework with stylized animal and plant motifs in the spaces, underglaze blue manufactory mark (sceptre) on the base, embossed year mark (probably a Greek eta) with month cipher for October and onglaze red painter's mark (imperial orb with "KPM") and decor and painter's mark "25/14a IIII", h 44.5 cm, designed by Ernst Böhm (1890 - 1963) in 1926 (model no. 12682), made by KPM Berlin October 1933, 1st choice, on a concealed, back-laid, red glazed base. Choice, the concealed, recessed stand ring slightly bumped several times, not visible in the view, otherwise very good condition 7101 This large vase with its unmistakable decoration is undoubtedly one of the most striking and concise models in the KPM Berlin range, in a second version the latticework was executed in underglaze blue (decoration 25/15a) Ref.
