Rosenthal - Lampe "Festreigen"

Porcelain, unpainted, three dancing girls in long robes on a wide, multi-tiered and partly fluted plinth, the centrally mounted two-part column shaft with original brass mounting with two sockets and chain switches, the plinth with embossed artist's signature "K. HIMMELSTOSS", the base with underglaze green manufacturer's mark "Rosenthal SELB BAVARIA" and embossed model number "K 210", h figure 33 cm, h total 64 cm, designed by Karl Himmelstoss (1887 - 1967) 1913, made by Rosenthal Selb before 1931, 1st choice, base of the back figure in green. Choice, foot of the figure at the back glued old, some matt glaze on the column shaft, otherwise good condition with minor signs of use, later wired 7205 The model was shown at the Deutscher Werkbundausstellung in Cologne in 1914 and was judged as follows "...the group is one of the best shown at this exhibition..."
