Porcelain, colorfully painted and gilt, standing dancer in clown costume on an oval plinth, embossed artist's signature "C. HOLZER-DEFANTI" on the plinth, underglaze green manufacturer's mark "Rosenthal SELB BAVARIA" and painter's signature "A. Geigenmüller" in gold, h 31.5 cm, designed by Constantin Holzer - Defanti (1891 - 1951) 1920 (model number 204, decor 204n, decor design probably also C. Holzer - Defanti), made by Rosenthal art department - Selb 1931, 1st choice, painted by Adolf Geigenmüller (active in Selb 1922 - 1932), very good condition with no visible signs of use, undamaged and unrestored 4733 Reference: Emmy Niecol 2001, Rosenthal Kunst- und Zierporzellan 1897 - 1945, vol.
