Bisque porcelain, unpainted (polished ivory), a squatting nude girl on an irregular natural plinth, the plinth with embossed artist's signature "F. Klimsch", the unglazed base with green manufacturer's mark "Rosenthal GERMANY KUNSTABTEILUNG SELB" and incised size indication "I.", h 41.5 cm, designed by Fritz Klimsch (1870 - 1960) in 1936 after the model of 1926, made by Rosenthal Selb in 1944, 1st choice, very good condition with no visible wear, undamaged and unrestored. Choice, very good condition with no visible signs of use, undamaged and unrestored, accompanied by a small figure in the style of Fritz Klimsch, also bisque porcelain, unpainted (polished ivory), seated, leaning nude, unmarked, l 23 cm, probably 1930s, also very good condition with no visible signs of use, undamaged and unrestored 4741 Porcelain version of the bronze figure shown at the autumn exhibition of the Prussian Academy of Arts 1927, the porcelain version was produced in three sizes, of which the present one is the largest at 41.5 cm high, the great esteem in which Rosenthal held this design and the artist is clear from the execution in the late war year 1944 Lit.Emmy Niecol 2001, Rosenthal Kunst- und Zierporzellan 1897 - 1945, volume II, page 244, no. 3.0596
