Porcelain, unpainted, slender, curved figure of the Virgin Mary with three small children on a small globe, the globe with embossed artist's signature "HAUENSTEIN", the base of the globe with underglaze green manufactory mark "Rosenthal GERMANY" and embossed model number "1851", h 39 cm, designed by Dan Hauenstein (1894 - 1978) in 1951, made by Rosenthal Selb in the late 1950s, 1st choice, the back with factory-ground impression of the firing rest, otherwise in good condition with no visible wear.
