Each silver 925 (sterling), chased and partly gilt, footed coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl and milk jug, each supported by four spheres, bulbous, transversely oval body with horizontal bulges, the pots with hinged lids, angular spouts and carved wooden handles, sugar bowl and milk jug fire-gilt inside, in the base of the pots and on the walls of the bowl and the jug, respectively, guarantee mark England (running lion and leopard's head with crown), city mark Newcastle (Three Towers), tax mark (bust of George III), year mark "U", year mark England (running lion and leopard's head with crown), city mark Newcastle (Three Towers), tax mark (bust of George III), year mark Guarantee mark England (running lion and leopard's head with crown), Newcastle town mark (Three Towers), revenue mark (bust of George III), year mark "U" (teapot) and "W" (coffee pot) and master's mark "CR" (coffee pot, sugar bowl and milk jug) and "GM" (teapot), h to 27.5 cm, total weight 1,816 g, Newcastle 1810/11, teapot George Murray 1810, coffee pot, sugar bowl and milk jug Christian ker Reid I. 1811, all pieces in very good condition with only minor signs of use 3802 Christian ker Reid founded a silver workshop in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1788, in 1818 it was known as Christian ker Reid & David Reid sen, after his death his sons William Ker Reid (1787 - 1868), David Reid Snr. (1792 - 1869) and Christian Bruce Reid (1805 - 1889) lead the company and bring it to great success, in 1838 the company receives a "Royal Appointment" from Queen Victoria and may call itself "Goldsmith to the Queen", in 1851 they show silverware at the Great Exhibition in London, the company still exists today in Newcastle
