Collection of three Freikorps badges with certificates, a) Bermondt - Awaloff - Cross, metal silvered and blue!!! enameled, pin on the back, 45 x 45 mm, with certificate of ownership no. 1169 of the German Legion for the Bermondt - Awaloff - Cross dated November 1, 1930 and b) Two Baltic Crosses, metal partly blackened or silvered, each with pin decoration and pin on the back, one pin with maker's mark "L/18" (B.H. Mayer Pforzheim), each in later LDO paper bag with stamps "LDO", "L/18" and "Juni 43" or "Juli 43", one handwritten "Baltenkreuz" (crosses possibly also later production from 1943?), with certificate of ownership of the Westphalian Free Corps "Pfeffer" for the Baltenkreuz dated January 6, 1920, plus certificate of ownership no. 2169 of the German Legion for the commemorative badge of the German Legion dated November 1, 1920 and loan certificate no. 2169 of the German Legion dated November 1, 1920. November 1920 and award certificate of the association "Kurland" for the Soldiers - Settlement - Medal of 5. Mätz 1920, all certificates issued for Oberleutnant Otto Butze von Freikorps "Pfeffer", a) center missing, otherwise all in good condition with minor traces of age and use 0672 The Bermondt-Awaloff cross is usually enameled in black, the blue enameled variant here is apparently not known so far Otto Wilhelm Butze was born in Arolsen in 1891 as the son of the Royal Prussian Privy Government Councillor Johann Franz Wilhelm Butze, he obtained his officer's commission in 1912 in the Lauenburg Jägerbataillon 9 and became captain and commander of the Infantry Regiment 78 in 1922, on the staff of the 6th Army Corps in Münster.
