NASA. Gemini 4 mission. Historic spacewalk by the 1st American Ed. White on June 5, 1965. Gemini 4 was the first mission of the space age to have an international audience. During this mission, the American White stepped out into space, using the HHSMU (Hand Held Self Maneuvring Unit), a gas-jet pistol. McDivitt took a dozen photographs that would later become famous in the history of the conquest of space. Vintage chromogenic print on "A KODAK PAPER" fiber paper. 27.8 x 21.9cm with margins.
