Paul JOUVE (1878-1973) Bermuda fish, 1957 Oil on panel Patinated white gold leaf background Signed lower left H : 33 cm - W : 41 cm History: Numerous studies on the motif were carried out by Jouve at the Bermuda aquarium, giving rise to a number of oil paintings. This work culminated in a three-leaf screen in the studio, now in the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Reims.
