Les Aphrodites, 1864, heliogravure retouched with etching and drypoint, 16.5 x 12.5 cm, margins 27.5 x 17.5cm (Exteens 715, Rouir 623 iv/iv), fine proof of the final state on chine volant, separate edition of the frontispiece for Les Aphrodites by A. de Nerciat, Brussels, 1864, some foxing. Also by the same artist, Le Parnasse satirique du XIXe siècle and Le Nouveau parnasse satyrique, clichés-trait, 13.7 x 8.4 cm and 14 x 8.4, margins 25 x 15.5 cm and 17.5 x 13.5 (Exteens 716-717), these are copies of Rouir plates 664 and 658, which served as frontispieces for Le Parnasse satyrique du XIXe siècle, 1864 and Le Nouveau parnasse satyrique, 1866. Set of 3 pieces.
