Clay ceramic with pseudo-gloss and brown decoration enhanced by green dots, featuring a quadruped in the center on a background of discs. Half-circle border. Clay ceramic painted yellow-brown and green on a raw background, decorated with triangular compartments furnished with geometric motifs forming a radiating composition. (Restorations, visible fractures, minor blocking and repainting, beautiful glossy glaze). D: 20 cm - H: 6 cm

Harpy bowl Iran, possibly Seljuk style of the XIIth/early 13th century Hollow bowl in thin-walled siliceous ceramic, painted black and cobalt blue, decorated with a harpy in a central medallion from which radiates a semiset of lanceolate floral motifs, and a frieze inscribed in nasta'liq script on the rim. On the reverse, calligraphic panels alternate with palmette scrolls. (Old fractures restored, glaze damaged).
