Photographic portrait of Michel Tournier cut out and pasted opposite the title page, followed by Tournier's signature.
Copy on Arches laid paper, the only large-format paper of which 50 copies were numbered and signed by the author (in this case
the copy is justified with the compositor).
Talking binding by Renaud Vernier, whose only decorative elements are two keys and a keyhole.
