Gouache on ivory. Copy after a drawing by Jean Baptiste Isabey. Half-length portrait in gold-embroidered coronation regalia with collane of the Order of the Legion of Honor. Signed in capitals on the left edge "Villain pinx. 1813." Edge of ivory plaque minimally bumped. Chip to the glass. Diameter 7 cm. Gilt copper frame.
