A group of Chinese jade and soapstone carvings

The lot comprises: a rectangular soapstone seal carved to the top surface with the bagua (Eight Daoist Emblems), and to the seal face with a poetic inscription and to the side signed Yuan Cheng; a soapstone cylindrical seal surmounted by a dog, the sealface is carved; a jadeite plume holder; a pale celadon jade pebble; a pale celadon jade carving of melons; a caramel soapstone prunus and rocks carving; a calcified jade 'mask' carving; and a bowenite carving of a goldfish with a wood stand. Condition: The chicken bone jade plaque: Appears to be in overall good condition; 7 cm. wide x 3.5 cm long The pale celadon jade pebble: Appears to be in overall good condition, with natural veins to the stone; 6 cm. long x 3 cm. wide The monster mask carving: Chips to the edges, areas of uneveness to the surface; 5 cm. long x 3 cm. wide The bagua rectangular soapstone seal: With tiny chips to the edges; 7 cm. long x 3 cm. wide x 3.5 cm. high The pale celadon jade melon carving: A fine crack to one stem; 4.5 cm long x 2 cm. wide The caramel soapstone prunus and rocks carving: Small chips; 5 cm. long x 3 cm. wide The soapstone dog finial seal: Small chips; 7 cm long x 2 cm. diam. The jadeite plume holder: Small chips to the edge; 7 cm. long x 1.5 cm. diam.
