Novus XVII Inferioris Germaniae Provinciarum typus de integro multis in locis emendatus à Guliel. Blaeu. Amsterdam W. Blaeu [1635] Copper engr., 40,5 x 50,5 cm, full col. (sm. marg. tears rep., expertly repaired by leaf casting, sl. tanned margins due to old framing). Good copy. 2nd state of the Low Countries engraved by Josua vanden Ende. Originally issued in 1608 with decorative borders, in a 2nd state trimmed to fit atlas, with "Ghedruckt t' Amsterdam bij Willem Blaeu op 't Water inde vergulde Zonnewyser" imprint. Date 1608 erased. From a Dutch edition. Nice cartouche in right upper corner with title and privilegium. West at top. Legend on left hand in decorative cartouche with festoons, decorative compass-rose with 32 rhumblines and Dutch name surrounded by a number of flagged vessels and a few sea monsters.
